My name is Shannon Vollmer. I am 36 year's old. I have been using since I was 12 years old when I was thirty I was introduced to heroin and my life started a downward spiral I could not get out of. One day I got call on the phone and it was the light house they said they could help me. I didn't think there was any hope for me. I thought I would die a junkie. I came to the lighthouse. They showed me what it was like to live & live sober. I haven't felt this good in years. The counselors and staff are wonderful people they showed me I can live sober and happy.
