When people are exploring options for drug and alcohol rehab, they are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They want an end to the chaos that has developed as a result of alcohol or drug use, but they also have a fear of the unknown. At Anaheim Lighthouse, we take a personal interest in the recovery of each individual who comes to us for treatment. We understand first-hand the multitude of emotions involved in making a commitment to recovery. Most of our staff members, including the founders of our program, have recovered from alcoholism.
We know the symptoms of the disease of addiction, and we know the solution because we have gone through the steps involved in changing direction and living lives free from the chains of drugs and alcohol. From the first day of detox in our residential drug addiction treatment program and continuing through our Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program, we create an environment of acceptance. We understand the turmoil addicts and their family members experience. We know that the people who love an alcoholic or drug addict the most are the ones most caught up in the disease. Family members want to help. They want to do the right thing, but nothing seems to work. We educate our staff to create the best atmosphere to help the addict and the family members to recover.
Anaheim Lighthouse Treatment Programs Break Through Denial
We know how difficult it is to pick up the telephone and ask for help. It means accepting on some level that the chaos of alcohol or drug addiction has reached a crisis point. It probably is not the first experience of reaching a crisis point, but drugs and alcohol have a tricky way of convincing users and their loved ones that the problem “really isn’t that bad.” Denial is the No. 1 symptom of addiction, not just for the user, but for everyone involved. Because the majority of our staff members have traveled that road, we know how denial works. We know about empty promises, idle threats, manipulation and outright lies that people tell themselves and others when the disease of addiction has taken hold. When addicts and their families finally do reach out, we respond with compassionate understanding. We are a client-centered addiction treatment center. This is typically a great turning point in a person’s life and we welcome each client with open minds and open hearts. When a family and client are ready we are prepared to work with each one to meet individual needs.
We Offer Clients a Safe, Secure and Welcoming Environment
Anaheim Lighthouse offers a home-like setting in adjacent four-plex units. We provide detox services as a first step. This gives us an opportunity to monitor each client for as long as necessary to reach the level of physical and emotional stability that allows them the strength to move on into residential treatment. We have separate facilities for men and women, with a total of 103 beds. During treatment, we work with clients and their families in education, communication and socialization. Our addiction treatment program includes individual and group counseling and therapy, with special groups focusing on dual diagnosis, trauma recovery and family relationships. We are committed to saving lives by providing as many resources as we can to help ensure each client’s success.Get in touch with our Southern California drug and alcohol rehab directly.
