David B. 72 days and counting…

This is my second trip to the Lighthouse and it was a lot different than my first time. Not just different better. It takes willpower and determination. It takes a different attitude than screw this, I don't want to be here, I don't have a problem. If you don't have a problem then why are you here. I didn't have that attitude this time. This time I had an attitude of gratitude. I actually cared about myself and my peers. This is something I didn't think I had in myself. You have been nothing but kind and helping while I was here. The staff has been very helpful. I now have 72 days sober and I have a plan for my life. It's called Peace, Serenity and Hope. If anyone out there has a problem with drugs and/or alcohol, give this thing a try. If I can do it, so can you.
