Tom and I are very thankful for the generosity of Anaheim Lighthouse and contributors. You have enabled Tom Roesner at 54 years old to have a new start in life. His health,demeanor,energy,attitude at work and relationships were crumbling before him. Tom was too consumed to fully know the hole he had drank himself into.
As his wife who has loved him since we were 17 years old I was determined to organize an intervention and find him a quality 30 day program to give him medical detox and show him them the tools to have life long sobriety.
When first speaking with Lorilie Head who was astonishing helping a woman in deep trouble and her drunk spouse. Then getting David Yutsus helping us I was impressed by his guidance and support. I reached out and indicated that financing was stretched so thin after recently buying a home and David quickly found a way through to get Tom help within our means. Yes I've took in a home renter for a quest room in our home and worked 12 days straight to make it work, doing my share to give my all. The compassion and understanding and financial help is very appreciated.
Tom has enjoyed all the counselors including Chris and he commended the people running group. He also was worried leaving my home cooking but was impressed by the nature and meals of the weekday cook. Tom's son who lives out of state finds it a relief also to know his father is in good hands.
